5 Pin Bowling for Fri Mar 05, 2010

5 pin bowling will declare provincial champions in four different events.  Men's Team, Ladies Team and Mixed Team, as well as singles champions.  The teams will represent four regions of the province.  The top three men and top three ladies, based on scratch scores bowled will form the Ontario team which will advance to the National Championships. 

The game of 5 pin bowling consists of 10 frames and will be played with regulation equipment on certified lane beds.  A frame consists of three legally delivered balls made by the same bowler in succession, except where such bowler shall roll a strike or spare.  There will be 60 bowlers vying for gold.
